After a 7 1/2 hour flight from LAX to Tahiti, we will board yet another plane to the Island of Bora Bora.

The first glimpse of Bora Bora is love at first sight, sailors, poets, adventurers, honeymooners and other romantics have proclaimed this island to be the most enchanting, awe-inspiring, romantic place on earth.

In Bora Bora we will stay at the - Motu (Sofitel) – which is a relatively new, secluded hotel on its own private islet facing the island of Bora Bora.  We will stay in an overthewater bungalow

August 28th, our wedding ceremony takes place on the Top of the hill overlooking the lagoon and facing Mount OTEMANU

5:00 pm A hostess comes to the bungalow to dress the couple with white pareos.
5:15 pm The groom will be picked up by outrigger canoe from the over water bungalows dock to arrive on the beach where he meets the bride.

They both meet and together climb  up the hill, escorted by the dancers.

Polynesian musicians and singers welcome them.
5:30 pm  The ceremony is celebrated by a Polynesian priest.

A Tahitian name is given to the couple, followed by songs and dances.

The singers and dancers celebrate the Tahitian name of the couple.

6:30 pm ...
7:00 pm A special dinner is served on the terrace of your bungalow

After 5nights at Bora Bora, we will then take a plane to the magical island of Moorea.   Moorea is known as the "Magical Island".   Moorea is a stunning jewel of jagged peaks, rising majestically from a sapphire sea. Completely encircled by coral reef, the island was originally a volcano whose caldera has eroded over time, allowing the sea to flow deep into the interior to create Opunohu Bay and Cook's Bay.

As spectacular as any island that rises from the Pacific, Moorea is everyone's dream of a Polynesian paradise. Often thought to be James Michener's mythical "Bali Hai," it is a magical island of savage yet captivating beauty where emerald mountains rise from sandy shores, towering over pineapple plantations, ivory beaches, and shady lagoons.

In Moorea we  will stay at the - La Ora (Sofitel)  located on Moorea's longest white sand beach in a Thatched-roof  beach bungalow.  The La Ora  is Bordered by a magnificent white sand beach, this is the only hotel on Moorea with a view of Tahiti.
